Kashmiris to hold vigil in Geneva against HR abuses in IOK

Geneva, September 16, 2015 (PPI-OT): Kashmiris worldwide will descent on the United Nations building on Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland, to hold a peaceful vigil against India’s violations of international humanitarian law and the massive rights abuses in Kashmir. The day’s activities also include a press conference at the Club Suisse de la Presse, where Kashmiri leaders in exile and human rights defenders in Azad [free] Kashmir, and in Indian-occupied Kashmir will participate. Approximate time is between 1300-1500Hrs. PST.

This press conference will be streamed online live in high video quality. Kashmiri activists in Pakistan will provide the link to Pakistani TV stations for live coverage.
