World appealed to help Kashmiris get rid of Indian yoke
Srinagar, September 30, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has appealed to the world community to help the Kashmiris in getting rid of Indian bondage. The JKML Acting Chairman, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, in a statement in Srinagar said that the Kashmir dispute was a blot on the face of civilized world so it must play role in resolving it in accordance with its historical perspective. He said that the Kashmiri Muslims were fighting against the Indian military occupation and the international community must recognize their just liberation struggle.
Mohammad Yousuf Mir praised the Muslims of the occupied territory who despite restrictions slaughtered thousands of bovines on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He said that it was an act to exhibit that the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir did not recognize the Indian judiciary and its anti-Muslims verdicts. The JKML leader said that Indian agents headed by Mufti Sayeed had spread a reign of terror among the pro-freedom people by arrests, house arrests and registering of cases. “The worst kind of state terrorism was witnessed during the recent Eid days,” he added.
He said that Mufti Sayeed started the arrest spree by taking the JKML Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, into custody to appease the Sangh Parivar. He said that when Masarrat Aalam was released by a court the Mufti Sayeed-led regime rearrested him from the jail premises and again booked him under draconian law, Public Safety Act. He said that such tactics could not stop the Kashmiri people from continuing their ongoing freedom movement.
