Accountability of corrupt elements without any discrimination dire need of hour: Governor
Governor Balochistan, Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that accountability of corrupt elements without any discrimination is the dire need of hour.
He said this while addressing a seminar held under the auspices of National Accountability Bureau Balochistan in connection with International Anti Corruption Day in Quetta on Monday.
The Governor said that corruption is the major obstacle in the country’s progress and prosperity.
He said that huge embezzlement in utilization of developmental funds was made in the previous regimes which caused backwardness in the province.
The Governor further said that capabilities of researchers and scholars of the universities should be utilized for eradication of corruption and ensuring good governance.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director General NAB Balochistan said the institution is committed to complete eradication of menace of corruption from the country.
A symbolic walk led by the Governor Amanullah Yasinzai was also organized on the occasion.
