Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has directed the government of Balochistan to identify and present any bottlenecks hindering project execution and ensure their urgent resolution.
He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review the progress on Public Sector Development Programme projects in Balochistan.
The Minister emphasized the need to optimize the budget, focusing on fulfilling the province’s most pressing needs.
He stressed that given the current economic constraints, it is essential to allocate resources to the most critical projects.
The Minister instructed authorities to expedite completion of projects with physical progress above 70 percent.
He also directed involvement of the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission to utilize satellite imagery for monitoring progress in Balochistan.
