Lahore: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has emphasized the enduring relevance of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy as a guiding light for the nation. He was addressing a ceremony at the University of the Punjab in Lahore in connection with Iqbal Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal underscored the importance of Iqbal’s poetry and philosophy in navigating current challenges, particularly for the Muslim Ummah worldwide. The Minister proposed that Allama Iqbal’s influential poetry be prominently displayed at the entrances of universities across Pakistan, encouraging students and faculty to draw daily inspiration from his teachings.
The minister condemned the ongoing violence against Muslim populations in Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon, highlighting the need for unity and resilience in facing global challenges.
