AJK PM calls for taking steps to lead freedom struggle in IIOJ&K


Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan says settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of Kashmiri people is the only way to establish durable peace in the region.

In a statement in Muzaffarabad, he said Kashmiris are the fundamental party to Kashmir dispute.

Raja Farooq said the Kashmir issue has entered into a decisive phase, calling for taking practical steps to lead the current struggle to its logical conclusion.

He said India is engaged in changing demography of the state by taking illegal measure of settling non-locals there to turn majority of Muslims into minority.

He said India has intensified the reign of terror in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) and has deployed over nine hundred thousand troops to crush the indigenous freedom struggle.
