Islamabad: Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed Pakistan's keenness to further enhance bilateral trade relations with Tajikistan. He conveyed this during a meeting with Tajikistan's Ambassador to Pakistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the long-standing friendly and brotherly relations that Pakistan and Tajikistan enjoy, which are founded on shared religious and cultural values. The discussion underscored the mutual interest in strengthening trade links and promoting regional cooperation.
Tajikistan's Ambassador, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, expressed his country's interest in maximizing the use of Pakistan's trade corridors. He praised Pakistan for its responsible and constructive role in the region, indicating a strong foundation for future collaboration.
Throughout the meeting, both sides emphasized the significance of enhancing Pak-Tajik trade ties and the importance of strengthening trade corridors among Central Asian States.
