Lahore: Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt has said that special arrangements have been finalized to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Sehri and Iftar hours in the holy month of Ramadan. In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Lahore's Correspondent Ghulam Haider, he said providing maximum relief to consumers during Ramadan is the company's top priority. According to Radio Pakistan, an effective monitoring mechanism has been devised to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to consumers during the sacred hours of Ramadan. The CEO stated that officers and operational teams have been assigned duties at the Control Room and Board Room at the headquarters to deal with any emergency situation promptly. Muhammad Ramzan Butt further mentioned that the PDC Control Room will remain in constant coordination with the higher management and the Ministry of Power and Energy. Special committees have also been constituted at the headquarters to ens ure continuous monitoring of grid stations and transmission lines. He concluded by saying that the Chief Engineer (T and G) and the Director Operations have been appointed as focal persons for these arrangements.
