Islamabad: Anti-Narcotics Force, in a successful operation, thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt from Panjgur to Turbat in Balochistan. According to Radio Pakistan, the ANF carried out a raid near Satellite Town in the Kech District, where they seized a large quantity of drugs. The drugs recovered included ninety-nine kilograms of ice, fifty kilograms of opium, and seventy-three kilograms of hashish. The total value of the confiscated drugs is estimated to be about 32.6 million rupees. One suspect was arrested in the operation and has been transferred to an ANF police station for further legal proceedings.
