APHC-AJK Delegation Engages in Strategic Talks in Karachi

Karachi: A delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) held significant meetings in Karachi, addressing India’s policies in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and drawing parallels with the Palestinian struggle for rights.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the meetings involved discussions with Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Central President Sarwat Ejaz Qadri and other notable leaders. Qadri, during the interaction, likened occupied Jammu and Kashmir to a prison and condemned the impunity with which Indian troops allegedly commit atrocities against Kashmiris. The meeting, which also involved central coordinators of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, was held at Qadri House and included prominent figures from the APHC-AJK such as Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain, and Imtiaz Wani.

The Hurriyat delegation also visited the Palestine Foundation Pakistan office, where they met with members of the Foundation’s Guardian Committee, including Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Asrar Abbasi, and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam. Discussions focused on the efficacy of resistance strategies as seen in the Palestinian context, and criticisms were raised against American mediation in both Palestine and Kashmir disputes, which were deemed detrimental.

The leaders of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan expressed solidarity with both Palestine and Kashmir, identifying America, Israel, and India as common adversaries. The commitment to raise awareness about the disputes in Palestine and Kashmir was reiterated, along with the strategy to enhance collaborative efforts towards achieving freedom for both regions.
