APHC leaders demand Kashmir settlement under UN resolutions

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has demanded the UN to fulfill its obligations regarding settlement of the Kashmir dispute under its resolutions.

In separate statements, APHC leaders including Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar and Nayeem Ahmed Khan have said the UN resolution is a proof that Kashmir is an internationally-recognized disputed territory.

They said India’s denial to implement the UN resolution has pushed the region into a quagmire of uncertainty.

They regretted that despite the passing of over seven decades, the promise made with the Kashmiris remained unfulfilled and world powers preferred commercial and material benefits and ignored humanity in Kashmir.

They said hypocrisy of the world and Indian expansionist designs have caused unimaginable destruction in Kashmir and have made peace in South Asia hostage.
