Army hands over Flag Staff House to government
Karachi: To commemorate the significance of the day being the birth anniversary of the Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the recently renovated Flag Staff House (Jinnah House) was handed over to the department of culture and heritage by Pakistan Army in a graceful ceremony on Sunday.
Governor of Sindh, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Muhammad Zahir-ul-Islam and provincial minister for culture and heritage, Sassui Palijo, were present at the ceremony.
Representatives from the culture department and other senior civil and military officials besides the teachers and students of the Army Public School and College and Sindh Madressatul Islam were also present.
