Azad Kashmir Prime Minister meets Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani
Islamabad: Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Minister for Local Government, called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the PM House today and thanked the Prime Minister for visiting the Azad Kashmir during which the Prime Minister of Pakistan inaugurated a number of important projects like the Mangla Dam Wall Raising, announced Mir Waiz Muhammad Farooq Shaheed Medical College, Muzaffarabad, Cadet College Dadiyal, inaugurated Al-Shifa Trust Hospital, and announcement of IT University in Mirpur.
The Azad Kashimr Prime Minister said that the Kashmiris living in the UK, across the Line of Control and Azad Kashmir were delighted on these futuristic projects having promising potential to bring far reaching changes in the state. He observed that he was witness to these manifestations during his recent visits to the UK and the Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Prime of Pakistan for taking up a firm and clear stand on the Kashmir issue with Indian Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani assured the Azad Kashmir Prime Minister that Pakistan’s political, diplomatic and moral support for the cause of Kashmir would continue aimed at resolving the issue according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The Prime Minister said that he would visit Muzaffarabad to lay foundation stone of the Muzaffarabad–Lower Topa Duel Carriageway the completion of which would be a great source of safety, comfort and convenience for the people who would travel on the road from and to the capital of the state.
