Balochistan government has declared emergency in all hospitals of Quetta due to continuous heavy rain in the city and its adjoining areas.
The medical staff including doctors have been instructed to remain present on duty round the clock.
Meanwhile, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Home Affairs Mir Ziaullah Langau visited flood affected areas of Quetta early this morning.
Talking to Media persons, he said Provincial Disaster Management Authority rescued 1000 people including women and children who were stranded in flood water at different areas of the city.
