Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, delivered a powerful message on International Peace Day, emphasizing the importance of justice, equality, and human dignity as pillars for sustainable peace. He articulated a vision of peace that extends beyond the mere absence of conflict to include the active presence of equitable and just principles.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bilawal Bhutto outlined his belief that true peace is contingent upon treating every individual with fairness and dignity, regardless of their background or beliefs. He acknowledged the various challenges Pakistan has faced in its journey towards peace but noted the country’s resilience in striving for a harmonious and prosperous society.

The PPP Chairman called on the global community to unite in addressing pervasive issues such as poverty, inequality, and climate change, which he views as essential to achieving lasting peace. He also highlighted critical geopolitical tensions, particularly the situations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, warning that these conflicts pose significant threats to global peace and stability.
