Business community fully backs Government, Army: Iftikhar Malik
Karachi, December 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): Leading business leaders of Pakistan has announced unconditional support to Government and Army to eradicate menace of terrorism from Pakistan. Awarding capital punishment to the terrorists is a great move which must not be delayed under any circumstances, they said.
Speaking to the business community, Vice President of Saarc Chamber and Chairman United Business Group of the FPCCI Iftikhar Ali Malik, Chairman TDAP SM Muneer, UBG candidate for FPCCI’s presidency Mian Idrees said that we can sacrifice everything for the security and integrity of Pakistan.
All political parties, Army and nation is on one page to combat terror therefore an operation must be launched at earliest without considering any pressure, they said. Government should not consider any impact of the decision on GSP Plus status or diplomatic or image problems as national interests are always supreme than the business interests.
They said that Army is the centre of our hopes and we are ready to sacrifice our lives for them. Terrorists must be held accountable for every drop of blood spilled mercilessly. Iftikhar Ali Malik said that we cannot have peace unless cordial relations with neighbouring countries are ensured which will relieve whole region of terror.
He said that defensive policies have inflicted great miseries on common people therefore offence is the only workable solution in the current set of circumstances. Afghan leadership must walk their talk as they would never get such a chance again to get rid of terrorists.
Government should also try economic stability which is a great weapon to defeat terrorism. The Peshawar massacre should act as an eye opener for Taliban apologists and those presenting them as supermen.
