By-elections are being held on vacant seats of Chairman in six Tehsil Councils of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
These include tehsil Darosh in Chitral district, tehsil Tangi in Charsadda, tehsil Daraban in DI Khan, tehsil Katlang in Mardan, tehsil Dasu in Kohistan and tehsil Blambut in Lower Dir district.
Polling will start at eight in the morning and continue till five in the evening without any break.
Thirty-three candidates are in the run for the tehsil council by-elections, while more than seven-hundred thousand voters will exercise their right to vote.
The Election Commission has set up five-hundred and sixty-eight polling stations out of which more than two-hundred polling stations have been declared as highly sensitive.
