Chancellor Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology pays surprise visit

Karachi:Chancellor Z.A. Nizami of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology Thursday paid a surprise visit to various class rooms to personally see the conduct of ongoing examinations of Batches 2008 to 2011.

Accompanied by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Jawed Rizvi and Registrar Shah Mahmood Hussain Syed, the Chancellor went from one to other room and watched the students busy in solving the question papers.

During the visit he also went to the University’s Medical Centre where a student who was injured in an incident, was provided a seat to give exam.

On the occasion, on his query, the doctor on duty informed that on an average a hundred patients visit the clinic.

The Chancellor also visited the University’s Cultural and Literary Forum where honorary consultant and renowned poet, Khumar Farooqi briefed him about the Forum’s activities.

During the visit the Chancellor issued directives to Director Planning and Development to maintain greater cleanliness at the campus.

The Chancellor expressed his satisfaction over the smooth conduct of examinations.
