Chief Officer Address Meeting Held On Cattle Exhibition
Karachi, February 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): KMC Chief Officer Matanat Ali Khan has said that no tax on entry of animals in the city carrying for cattle exhibition would be charged so that citizens could have chance for watching this show. He said this while addressing a meeting held on cattle exhibition and seminar which will be held by Board of Investment Government of Sindh on 23rd and 24th Feb 2013 in Expo Centre Hassan Square in which stalls of dairy, fisheries, poultry, agriculture and cattle would be placed.
The meeting was attended by Director Administration Board of Investment Government of Sindh Shahzeb Kakar, Section Officer Adnan Shaikh, Sr. Director Veterinary Services KMC Mukhtar Hussain, Sr. Director Sports and Culture Muhammad Rehan Khan, Sr. Director Local Tax Department and other officers. Staff deployed on all check posts were directed that they should not charge any tax on animals being carried for cattle exhibition.
He said that in this connection Local Tax Department would install banners on various locations. Municipal Services Department would make arrangements for fire brigade and ambulances and more than 50 wardens would be deployed in Expo Centre.
Chief Officer said this exhibition was very important which would interpret about various animals found in Sindh. Matanat Ali Khan said that along with flowers show and dog show a cultural show had also been arranged in this exhibition which would be fully support by KMC.
