Islamabad: The Christian community in Pakistan celebrated Christmas today as elsewhere in the world. Special programmes and services were organized in Churches across the country to celebrate the festival. All the Churches have been decorated with colorful lights and illuminated Christmas trees. The residential areas of Christian community have also been decorated with twinkling lights and stars. According to Radio Pakistan, the celebrations included various activities and events that brought together members of the community in a spirit of joy and togetherness. The festive atmosphere was palpable as people gathered in churches for services, sharing in the traditional songs and prayers that mark this significant occasion. The decorations added to the festive spirit, with vibrant lights and beautifully adorned Christmas trees creating a warm and welcoming environment for all attendees. In addition to church services, many communities organized social gatherings and events aimed at fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the Christian population. These events provided an opportunity for people to come together, share meals, and enjoy the company of family and friends during this special time of year.
