Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the province's first Artificial Intelligence Roadmap. The meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister, set the deadline of 2029 for Punjab to become the leading AI province of South Asia.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz also approved the establishment of the AI Technical Advisory Board and directed the inclusion of high-level experts in the Board. The Chief Minister stated that the government aims to improve the efficiency of its every section through the use of Artificial Intelligence.

As per the AI launching project schedule, the Punjab AI Roadmap Manifesto will be launched during the current month while the international launching of the world's first AI Delivery Unit will be done in June.
