Sargodha: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated electric buses in Sargodha on Friday. Addressing the ceremony, she announced that sixty electric buses will operate within Sargodha city, with an additional one hundred and five buses designated for four other districts in the division.
According to Radio Pakistan, CM Maryam Nawaz congratulated the residents of Sargodha, highlighting that this initiative underscores the Punjab Government's commitment to enhancing the quality of life in smaller cities by offering superior transport facilities.
The newly launched buses are outfitted with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and air-conditioning, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers. Moreover, the service will provide free travel to children, students, women, and senior citizens, making it an inclusive and accessible transportation solution for the community.
