Srinagar, March 29, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Syed Saleem Gilani, has strongly condemned the continued illegal detention of senior resistance leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt and Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo.

Syed Saleem Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had turned occupied Kashmir into a big prison where suppression of basic rights of people was increasing with each passing day. He said that imprisonment of political leaders could not in any way suppress the ongoing freedom movement. Syed Saleem Gilani demanded immediate release of all unlawfully detained Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails.
