Lahore: Death anniversaries of musician Master Inayat Hussain and playwright Haseena Moin were observed on Thursday.
According to Radio Pakistan, Master Inayat Hussain, a celebrated musician, was born in the Bhati Gate area of Lahore in 1916. He was a disciple of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan from the Patiala Gharana. Throughout his four-decade-long career, he composed songs for sixty-five films. Master Inayat Hussain passed away on this day in 1993 in Lahore.
Haseena Moin, a renowned playwright, was born on 20th November 1941 in Kanpur, India. She made significant contributions to the field of performing arts by writing numerous plays for stage, radio, and television. Haseena Moin was honored with the Pride of Performance award for her contributions. She died on this day in 2021 in Karachi.
