According to Radio Pakistan, Masood Pervaiz was born in Amritsar in 1918. He was recognized for his contributions to the film industry with the Presidential Award for Best Director in 1957 for his film 'Intizar'. His talent and vision also earned him the Nigar Award for Best Director for his work on films such as 'Heer Ranjha' and 'Khak O Khun'. Many of his other films were also nominated for the Nigar Award in various categories, showcasing his significant impact on the industry.
