‘Dhee Rani Program’ to Benefit 5000 Deserving Couples: Sohail

Dera Ghazi Khan: Punjab Minister for Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt has announced that the Dhee Rani program will aid in the marriages of five thousand deserving couples throughout the province in its forthcoming second and third phases. This announcement was made during mass wedding ceremonies for deserving couples in Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh.

According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative is designed to support couples who lack the financial means to get married. Minister Sohail emphasized the government’s commitment to social welfare by facilitating these mass weddings, which aim to ease the financial burden on families who might otherwise struggle to afford wedding ceremonies.

The Dhee Rani program is part of a broader effort by the provincial government to promote social welfare and provide support to underprivileged communities. Through these efforts, the government seeks to uplift the lives of its citizens by addressing critical needs such as marriage, which is a significant milestone in many people’s lives.

The initiative has already seen success in its initial phase, and the continuation into the second and third phases is expected to extend its reach further, benefiting more couples in need across the province.
