Doubling gold ornaments; two women swindlers arrested
Islamabad: Shehzad town police has arrested two women swindlers who entered in a house at Margallah town and tried to cheat the inmates by asking them to bring gold ornaments which would be doubled by them, a police spokesman said.
According to details, two women entered a house at Margallah town on some pretext and asked the lady to bring her gold ornaments that would be doubled by them. The lady called her husband Khan Inam ul Majeed who informed the Shehzad town police. A police team headed by Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali immediately rushed there and nabbed two women identified as Zahida Bibi and Raizan Bibi.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Bani Amin Khan has appreciated this performance and appealed all citizens to remain vigilant and alert against such swindlers. He said that it is the responsibility of police to ensure protection to the lives and property of citizens but people should also remain against such fraudsters.
Further investigation is underway from them and police are hopeful to get further important information from them.
Meanwhile, ASI Muhammad Haneef arrested four persons Murad Ali, Sardar Hussain, Faraz Ahmed and Inayat for watching prone movies. ASI Ejaz Ahmed from Bhara Kau police station apprehended a bootlegger Nasir Masih for having 10 wine bottles while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees nabbed Shanawar Khan in possession of 30 bore pistol,
SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has also appreciated overall performance and directed all police officials for effective policing.
