Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned the unwarranted attacks against Iran. In a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, he called for an immediate halt to escalation through urgent resumption of diplomacy to achieve a peaceful and negotiated resolution to the crisis.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides also reviewed the evolving situation in Iran and the wider region.
