DPM Invites Opposition to Sit with Govt for Bringing Improvement in Any Law

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has invited the opposition to sit with the government for bringing improvement in any law. Responding to the points raised by JUI (F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at the joint sitting of the parliament today, he emphasized that there should be no politics on sensitive matters. He said the amendments proposed by the JUI (F) to improve the National Commission for Minorities Rights Bill were openly accepted by the government.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar’s invitation to the opposition highlights a willingness to collaborate on legislative improvements. His response to Maulana Fazlur Rehman indicates a government stance against politicizing sensitive legislative issues. The acceptance of amendments from the JUI (F) demonstrates a cooperative approach in refining the National Commission for Minorities Rights Bill.
