Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar today spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. During the conversation, the two leaders exchanged views on recent regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Minister Araghchi briefed Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar on his recent visit to China and the consultations held on matters of regional and international importance. He also thanked Pakistan for its facilitation in the repatriation of Iranian nationals from seized vessels earlier, and appreciated Pakistan's continued diplomatic and humanitarian cooperation in this regard.
