Sialkot: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has announced a marked improvement in the country’s economy, attributing the positive change to the successful policies implemented by the government. He highlighted that inflation has seen a significant decrease, which is a direct result of these policies.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a conversation with journalists in Sialkot, the Minister emphasized that the Pakistan stock market has reached its highest level in history, and the country’s foreign exchange reserves have seen substantial growth. These developments, he noted, are indicators of the government’s effective handling of the economy.
Addressing the recent protests organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khawaja Asif remarked that PTI supporters are struggling to acknowledge the progress made by Pakistan under the current administration. He accused the PTI of spreading misinformation regarding alleged fatalities during the protests, stressing that no video evidence of any fune
rals has surfaced.
Furthermore, the Minister criticized the PTI for utilizing resources from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their protest activities. He also pointed out the inability of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to maintain order and peace within the province, suggesting a failure in governance on their part.
