Election Commission of Pakistan Appoints Returning Officers/Polling Officers for the Forthcoming Senate Elections
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has appointed the following Returning Officers and Polling Officers for the purpose of election of seven Members from general seats, two Members from the seats reserved for women, two seats reserved for Technocrats including Ulema and a seat reserved for non Muslims, from each of the Provinces of the Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in place of the Members of the Senate, who are due to retire after the expiration of their term of office on 11th March, 2012 :

2- In addition, the ECP has appointed the Director General (Elections), ECP as Returning Officer and the Deputy Secretary (Elections), Director (Law), Deputy Director (Elections-I) and Deputy Director (Cord), Election Commission of Pakistan, Islamabad as Polling Officers for the purposes of election of two Members of the Senate from the Federal Capital and the Additional Secretary, ECP as Returning Officer and the Deputy Election Commissioner, Rawalpindi, Deputy Director (Estt-I), Deputy Director (Confd) and Deputy Director (Admn), Election Commission of Pakistan, as Polling Officers for the purposes of election of four members of the Senate from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas in place of the Members of the Senate, who are due to retire after the expiration of their term of office on 11th March, 2012.
