Lahore: An Election Tribunal in Lahore has dismissed a petition challenging the victory of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar from NA-127 in general elections.
According to Radio Pakistan, the petition was filed by Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar. The election tribunal declared Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar's petition as incorrect, non-maintainable, and baseless.
Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar repeatedly sought adjournments and requested the case to be postponed. He failed to present any evidence in his favor.
