Doha: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says he had an excellent meeting with the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha. According to Radio Pakistan, in a post on X, he said he was joined in the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The Prime Minister said warm and productive discussions focused on how the two sides can advance the fraternal bonds and transform them into mutually beneficial economic relationships. He said the meeting also took stock of the regional situation. Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan and Qatar will continue to work together for peace and stability in the region and beyond.
