Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reiterated the government's commitment to transparency, policy consistency, and investor facilitation.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with a high-level delegation from VEON in Islamabad, the Finance Minister emphasized that the recent spectrum auction was carried out through a transparent and consultative process. This approach aimed to balance pricing considerations with the need to establish a sustainable telecom ecosystem.
VEON's Group CEO, Kaan Terzioglu, acknowledged the efforts of the Pakistani government to create a conducive investment environment. He also reaffirmed VEON's dedication to expanding its operations in Pakistan.
Both parties expressed their commitment to enhancing collaboration in the telecom and digital sectors, supporting Pakistan's economic development and digital transformation objectives.
