Firdous Shah denounces Hurriyet leaders’ arrest in IOK

Srinagar, March 06, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Firdous Ahmad Shah has denounced the arrest of Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Merajuddin Kalwal, describing it as the frustration of the authorities.

Firdous Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India and its agencies were trying to sabotage Kashmir liberation movement through use of brute force but would never succeed in their nefarious designs. Meanwhile, Firdous Ahmad Shah in his statement also paid rich and glorious tribute to the innocent persons who were martyred by Indian Army on this day in 1993 in Sopore. Indian troops while cordoning off the main market fired indiscriminately and also fired at a boat killing seven people onboard.
