Flood relief operation is continuing in the districts adjacent to the Sutlej River.

In a statement, Director General PDMA Imran Qureshi said 5 medical camps are providing medical facilities, 20 ambulances are always available in case of any emergency for the people of flood affected districts.

DG PDMA further stated that around one million people have been shifted to safe places and over 2million people were provided with emergency transport facilities.

He also said that 1.5 million cattle were given preventive medicine and vaccination and twenty-five thousand cattle have been moved to safe places.
