GB CM Directs Authorities to Stay Alert for Potential Flood Situation

Islamabad: Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Amjad Hussain has directed relevant departments and administration at district level to remain alert to cope with the possible flood situation. He has emphasized the importance of readiness in the face of potential natural disasters and urged all teams to ensure they are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister has specifically instructed the health and food departments to maintain a sufficient stock of medicines and basic necessities. This directive aims to ensure that there are adequate supplies to meet the needs of the population should a flood occur. The proactive measures are part of an effort to mitigate the impact of any potential flooding and to safeguard the well-being of the residents of Gilgit Baltistan.
