Glowing tributes paid to Sopore martyrs
Srinagar, December 21, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, pro-movement leaders and organisations have paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri youth, who were recently martyred by Indian troops during a military operation in Sopore. The Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, along with a party delegation, visited Sopore to express solidarity with the family members a boy, Athar Dar, who was among the martyred youth.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, she said that the sacrifices of these martyrs reminded us the battles fought by the Muslims of early days of Islam against the forces of falsehood. She said, mujihideen are the real asset of Umah.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement and the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League in their statements also paid rich tributes to Athar Ahmad Dar and other martyrs of Sopore.
Reiterating the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the mission of martyrs to its logical end, they said that the ongoing struggle would continue till the people of Jammu and Kashmir were given their inalienable right to self-determination.
