Government agencies should pretend country’s development through economic, business and trade activities and any unjustified act against businessmen may derail trade and economic activities in country: Khalid Tawab
Karachi, February 29, 2016 (PPI-OT):The government enforcement agencies should pretend the country’s development through economic, business and trade activities and any unjustified act against any businessmen, trader or industrialist may cause derail the trade and economic activities in the country. This was stated by Khalid Tawab, Senior Vice President FPCCI in a meeting with Aqeel Karim Dhedi, Chairman, AKD Group at Federation House, Karachi who visited FPCCI to discuss the ongoing cases against AKD Group launched by FIA.
The meeting was attended by a large number of people prominently Abdul Rahim Janoo, former SVP of FPCCI, Zahid Saeed, Chairman KATI, Arif Habib, Yahya Polani, Ahmed Chinoy, Haji Ghani Usman, Atam Parkash, Nadeem Sheikh Advocate. Khalid Tawab stated that FPCCI believes on justice without harassment and hampering trade and business activities and no one should be accused without prove.
He said that the authorities should pursue impartial investigation which is the basic element to lead to a fair decision and justice. He informed that a committee headed by President FPCCI has been formed to appraise the concerned authorities including Prime Minister, Interior Minister, Chairman SECP and others for the betterment of the trade and industry and to ensure no injustice and no harassment to any businessmen and industrialist as well.
