Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that the government is fully focused on promoting sports in the country. He was addressing attendees at the prize distribution ceremony of the National Age Swimming Championship in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar highlighted that Pakistan has an abundance of talent in sports, including swimming. He noted that swimming is an area where Pakistan has the potential to excel on a global level in the future.
Attaullah Tarar emphasized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s commitment to encouraging young athletes, both boys and girls, who possess skill and talent. He announced the government’s plan to provide world-class facilities to ensure that these young athletes have access to the necessary infrastructure and resources to compete internationally.
The Minister extended his congratulations to the winners, their parents, and the organizers of the event, acknowledging their efforts and contributions to the sports community.
