Nankana sahib: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited flood-affected areas in Nankana Sahib to assess the damage and review rehabilitation efforts for those affected by recent heavy rains and flooding. During her visit, the Chief Minister inspected relief operations and met with residents to hear their concerns.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister announced that the provincial government will compensate the loss of crops and livestock due to flood water. She stated that financial assistance will also be provided to the owners whose mud houses collapsed due to flood water.
