Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is likely at isolated places in Kashmir, northeastern Punjab, Islamabad, Pothohar region, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Kashmir and northeastern Punjab. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature in major cities is forecasted as follows: Islamabad twenty-four degrees, Lahore and Peshawar twenty-nine degrees, Karachi twenty-eight degrees, Quetta twenty-two degrees, Gilgit twenty degrees, Murree sixteen degrees, and Muzaffarabad twenty-five degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thundershower in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while partly cloudy weather is expected in Leh. Temperatures are expected to be Srinagar and Baramula at twenty degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-seven, Leh at fifteen, Pulwama and Shopian at nineteen, an d Anantnag at twenty-one degrees centigrade.
