Hot, Humid Weather to Prevail in Most Parts of the Country: PMD

Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is anticipated to persist in most parts of the country over the next twelve hours. However, there is a likelihood of rain, accompanied by wind and thundershowers, in isolated areas including Kashmir, Islamabad, Northeastern Punjab, the Potohar region, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at thirty, Peshawar at twenty-nine, Quetta at twenty-five, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad at twenty-three, and Murree at eighteen degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cloudy conditions with potential rain, wind, and thundershowers in regions such as Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, Leh and Pulwama are expected to experience partly cloudy and dry weather. This morning’s temperatures in the region were recorded as: Srinagar and Baramula at nineteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-six, Leh at ten, and Pulwama and Anantnag at eighteen, with Shopian at seventeen degrees centigrade.
