Srinagar, March 02, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Patron of Mehaz-e-Azadi, Muhammad Azam Inqilabi has urged India to refrain from suppressing Hurriyet leaders, who are carrying forward the peaceful democratic struggle for Kashmir’s freedom from Indian bondage.

Muhammad Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, condemned the illegal detention of senior Hurriyet leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah. He warned that the peaceful freedom struggle could take a new turn due to such detentions of Hurriyet leaders and activists.

Muhammad Azam Inqilabi said that South Asia could be brought out of uncertainty through peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute by involving Pakistan, India and Hurriyet leaders like Shabbir Ahmad Shah in the dialogue process.

He also demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists. The Mehaz-e-Azadi leader lauded the courage of Kashmiri intellectual, Professor Syed Abdur Rehman Gilani, and students of Jawaharlal Nehru University for raising voice in support of the Kashmiri people.
