According to Radio Pakistan, the strikes specifically targeted terrorist sanctuaries and training camps in precision operations across three Afghan provinces. The actions were carried out as a direct response to the ongoing threat posed by militants who utilize Afghan territory for violent activities against Pakistan.

Minister Chaudhry emphasized that Islamabad had consistently provided credible evidence to Kabul regarding the use of Afghan land for terrorist activities. Despite these repeated efforts, the Afghan administration has been unable to effectively curb these actions, prompting Pakistan to exercise its right to self-defense.

The Minister further clarified that Pakistan remains committed to responding to terrorist threats and will continue with retributive actions if such activities persist, underscoring the nation's resolve to protect its sovereignty and security.
