Islamabad Traffic Police team delivers lecture among seminary’s students
Islamabad: Extending the liaison campaign of Islamabad Traffic Police with religious institutions, police officers Madrassah Mehad ul Quran here at sector I-8/3 and delivered lecture among the students about road safety and traffic rules.
The purpose of visit is also to forge close links with seminaries with a view to promote friendly policing culture. It is to mention that Police officers of Education Unit of Islamabad Traffic Police visit religious seminaries and deliver lecture among students regarding road safety. Over 100 seminary’s students participated in this lecture.
The ITP Education team during visit to Madrassah Mehad ul Quran informed students about road safety measures and working of police department. The team members said the basic purpose of this lecture is to create awareness about rules and regulations and promote a sense of responsibility among students.
Inspector ITP Education Wing Mehfooz Kiani said that SSP (Traffic) Dr. Moeen Masood has also stressed to deliver special lectures among religious students so that they can play their role in ensuring safe road environment in the city. With the same objective under SSP’s guideline, he said this campaign will remain continue to promote friendly policing in the city.
Inspector Mehfooz said that efforts of ITP and hard work of its personnel have not only helped establish a disciplined traffic system in the capital but also reduced ratio of accidents.
