Istanbul to host 33rd Session of COMECE from tomorrow

Jeddah (OIC-UNA) The Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) will hold its 33rd Session at the ministerial level in the Turkish city of Istanbul on November 20-23, under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony highlighting the latest actions taken by the OIC General Secretariat and institutions operating in the field of enhancing economic cooperation among the member states since COMCEC General Assembly’s 32nd Session, held in Turkey in November 2016.

The 33rd session focuses on the development of trans-border transport corridors among the OIC member states.
