Jam Ikramullah Dharejo expresses concern over disconnection of gas supply to the factories
Karachi, January 03, 2021 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has expressed his concern over the disconnection of gas supply to the factories by Sui Southern Gas Company and demanded immediate action from Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Government of Sindh is with the business community and every effort will be made at every level to solve their problems,” he said in a statement issued here on Sunday. Dharejo said that the incompetence and poor economic policies of the U-turn government were leaving a negative impact on the industries which would face a storm of unemployment due to the gas cut-off.
He said that instead of providing facilities to the industrialists, the federal government was aggravating their problems due to which investment in the country had come to a standstill and unemployment and poverty were increasing day by day. Dharejo said that the federal government had burdened the inflation-stricken people under the heavy burden of levy tax and margin on petroleum products which was a very shocking act.” It seems that the U-turn federal government will completely destroy the economy and will not provide any facility to the people,” he concluded.
