Brussels, March 29, 2016 (PPI-OT):The KCEU Chairman, Ali Raza Syed, in an interview requested the Kashmiris based in different European countries as well as political leadership of Azad Kashmir and occupied Kashmir to attend the protest. He said, Kashmiris who are already deprived of justice under Indian rule, are suffering from state terrorism as the occupation regime imposed black laws in the territory and Modi’s regime created more difficult situation in occupied Kashmir due to its fascist attitude.

“Kashmir Valley has become a human slaughtering place where in the recent decades thousands of Kashmiris were arrested, kidnapped and killed extra-judicially by the occupation forces,” he said. He, however, said that the arrests, torturing and killings could not deter the Kashmiris from continuing their freedom struggle.

Regarding the free trade access of India to the European market in the upcoming bilateral summit, he demanded that the EU should link this trade with betterment of human rights situation in different parts of India and occupied Kashmir. Being an influential international body, the EU can play important role for end to human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir and a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute which is vital for peace and prosperity in the region. It is to mention here that Modi will visit Brussels for the first India-European Union bilateral summit in four years.
